I’m Alla Ostrovsky, an artist living and working in Israel.
Painting has always been my way of paying closer attention — to people, nature, memory and the strange, quiet moments that are easy to miss. I’m drawn to realism, but I often let something symbolic or dreamlike enter the image.
I work slowly, building colour and detail in layers, and I want each painting to feel personal and alive. Alongside my own original works, I also create commissioned paintings based on people, animals, memories and meaningful ideas.
I’m a member of the Petah Tikva Artists Association, and my work has been shown in exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
